Stainless Steel Drains
Stainless steel drains cost more upfront than cast iron or plastic — and they earn it back by never corroding, never cracking, and never needing a premature replacement. A quality 304 or 316 stainless drain body handles everything from freeze-thaw cycling in Minnesota to salt-laden coastal exposure in Florida without losing structural integrity or flow capacity.
Our stainless steel drain collection covers roof, deck, balcony, parapet, shower, and retrofit applications. Roof drains come in bottom-outlet and side-outlet configurations with strainer domes sized to prevent debris infiltration while maintaining full flow during heavy events. Deck and balcony drains feature low-profile designs that integrate with waterproofing membranes and minimize trip hazards on walking surfaces. Channel drains — linear trench-style units — handle high-volume surface water collection across shower floors and commercial walkways.
For single-ply membrane roofs, we carry TPO-clad and PVC-clad stainless drains where the coating welds directly to the roof sheet. The stainless body underneath provides the rigidity and clamping force; the cladding provides membrane compatibility. It's the best of both worlds.
Pricing ranges from about $70 for basic components up through $750 for fully engineered systems. Every drain is made in the USA and ships with the hardware you need for installation.
