Hammered copper sheets have a texture and warmth that you can't fake with a printed laminate or a powder coat. The hammer marks catch light at different angles, so the surface reads differently depending on where you're standing and what time of day it is. That's what draws designers and DIYers to it — it's a living material with real dimension.

Our hammered copper sheets and flat sheet stock work for everything from cabinet panel inlays and range hood wraps to backsplash accents, tabletop surfaces, and craft projects. The sheets cut with standard tin snips or a shear, and they bend and form easily by hand or with a brake. You can solder them, rivet them, or use construction adhesive — depends on the application.

Raw copper will patina naturally over time, shifting from bright penny orange through chocolate brown to eventual green if it's exposed to the elements. If you want to keep the bright finish, seal it with a clear lacquer. If you want to accelerate the aged look, liver of sulfur or vinegar-and-salt solutions do the trick in a few hours.

We stock both hammered and smooth copper in various widths, plus stainless steel options for projects where corrosion resistance matters more than the copper aesthetic.
