Stainless Steel Dryer Vents
Smooth bore, weighted louvers, zero corrosion. That's the whole pitch on a stainless steel dryer vent. Lint doesn't stick to the interior walls. The louvers swing open under exhaust pressure and drop shut when the dryer stops — tight seal, no backdraft, nothing crawling in. The body won't rust out on you. We've seen our stainless steel dryer vents pulled off during gut remodels after 15 years looking factory-fresh.
Three configurations: louvered wall-mount for your standard 4-inch through-wall run, under-eave soffit-mount when you don't want hardware on the siding, and rooftop for multi-story or when going up is a shorter duct path than going out. Larger diameters in stock for commercial laundry.
Order with a backdraft damper, insect screen, or both. Flush-mount flanges for standard sheathing. Stucco-ring option for textured exteriors. You're probably here because the aluminum one rusted or the plastic one cracked — so this probably is the last one you'll need.
