Which Mounting Style? Copperlab's vents come in two different mounting styles. The flush mount should be purchased if the siding of your building is already installed, or if your building is brick or stone. The stucco mount model has a flashing and is meant to be installed prior to the siding installation. This mount can best be used with stucco, or wood / vinyl siding (stucco mount vents must be installed underneath siding and water-proofing).

Not reg. old vent
It is incredibly refreshing to receive a product made by true craftsmen! This is the 5th product I have purchased, and each is more pleasing than the last. They work great, and look great!
I was tired of replacing cheap plastic vent covers over and over. This cover is very high quality, well crafted, and very durable. It was easy to install and looks great against the brick.
I’m very excited impressed with the quality of this copper vent and the fast delivery.
We will definitely be replacing all the vent covers at our cabin as well!! Nice job!!
Brick guys installed the other day and looks great
A vent for every need, perfection in every vent. No matter the need there is a quality product to meet that need. I couldn't be more pleased.
Technically it seems to work - craftsmanship OK - but all the flaps had numerous scratches on then. I can't tell if it was done during shipping, or the sheet was scratched before fabrication. For $110 I expected it to be without flaws. I don't ever expect 'perfect' - no such thing. but I didn't expect glaring flaws. Good idea - poor execution. I'll try to 'weather' the copper to see if the finish can hide the scratches. Warning: don't expect the vent to look good enough to use near traffic areas.
I replaced a broken plastic vent outlet with this one and it looks great. I relocated the penetration for this one so had to drill new holes. Make sure you size your hole saw properly. I used a 4-1/8" and had to file a bit. A 4-1/4" hole saw will make installation easier. The copper looks awesome and will only get better with age. Another installation tip, I applied some grease to the flap pins prior to sealing and mortering in to the masonry where it penetrated the exterior wall.
I purchased two of the louvered vents for stucco . They arrived promptly and were well packaged. The tolerances are tight and clean, and the flaps function well. They are reasonably stable and solid for connecting to the building, with two layers of copper for most of the surrounding flange. I was a little surprised that the attached vent pipe (which will be concealed) was not also copper, but that isn't a big deal.
Purchased to replace the unsightly dryer vent cover which is (unfortunately) located on the front of my house. This cover fits and performs well, and looks beautiful! So happy with my purchase.
Well made, Good looking, high quality product
Bought a 4 & 6 in model, one for dryer one for range hood exhaust. Well made and definitely look better than any commercial vent. Only 4 stars because of the price but they should last for many years.
If you spend this much to build a house, it makes sense to put in a quality vent. Really beautiful. Wanted to give it 5 stars but this app is not mobile ready so I could not scroll to the 5 star.
very nice vent , wish the connection pipe was longer but my situation has thickened walls, shouldn't be any problem with standard walls
My client wanted something special for the vent exiting her new patio, The copper louvered vent cover was the perfect solution.
Good product, looks like it will stand up to the salty beach environment.
Very well done. Highly recommend for high end houses.
This louver looks awesome. Definitely reached my expectations.
Looks great high quality and easy to install thanks
Looks great high quality and easy to install thanks
Beautiful very well made. Love it. Worth every penny.
Customer service is remarkable, very knowledgeable sales people. They did not have the exhaust vent pipe size I needed in stock and I needed it yesterday, they made it for me special order and shipped immediately. I actually received it earlier than anticipated. Excellent product, I wouldn't go anywhere else for my copper needs.
I ordered the Hammered Copper Flush Wall Vent and found the workmanship to be great, with attention to detail, To my surprise, the through the wall tube is made of Stainless Steel (not galvanized).
I was able to chip out the cinder block opening and countersink to accommodate the half inch behind the vent that doesn't show in the photo. It is beautiful and works just as described. The only caveat I encountered was the neck of the vent was only the width of the cinder block, leaving no room to secure the exhaust pipe; the old one was 3" longer. I purchased a 3" extension eh voila: job done.
Looks and performs exactly as advertised. And the customer service at copperlab was helpful in describing the sizing, etc. I highly recommend this product.
Purchased the stainless version. Looks good (seams polished well on mine) and works as described. Did need to modify slightly to work with our brick house but overall nice. Would purchase again.
Actually imported 3 of these into Canada as I could not find anything except cheap plastic vents which eventually warp and stick open. I am very happy with the quality and especially how neat these vents look on my house.
The copper vent I ordered and installed was worth the cost. You definitely 'get what you pay for.' Thanks!
First time Internet purchase local fabricator on vacation needed to retrofit vent for client
Pleased with everything really all connections and details work/look well will buy more vents in the future had to custom order over sized vent line
Customer service was good
Dryer vent looks good and louvers work well. Only comment is on the outside finish, discoloration at corners seams. Maybe weathering will smooth it out.
Purchased this vent in stainless after looking at all the plastic ones in the hardware stores. Contractor said it was a very nice well built vent and had no trouble installing it, and it looks good too. Would recommend.
I have purchased this copper vent before and would purchase again if needed. Nice product.
I am doing some work for a customer who loves copper and he is so excited to have these vent pieces. Good quality and appearance. I will continue to shop here
I bought the flush mount stainless steel vent. It is made of higher quality material than 95% of the vents you see for sale everywhere else. It does not have a perfect surface finish on it i.e. shows signs of raw stock stainless steel sheet being used without much surface rework to a polished state. There were no gouges or scrapes on the surface but discolorations from clamping or from the original raw stock were evident. If I had fabricated the vent myself I would have probably put the extra time and expense into polishing out any surface imperfections or put a brushed finish on it. It probably would be more expensive if the surface was done to perfection. But it is just a dryer vent so perfection is probably overkill!
Fair craftsmanship . Terrible welding and polishes stainless was FAIR at best, SORRY. I'd probably be ok if it was about $50.00
Response - Sorry you are disappointed with the craftsmanship. We "solder" our vents. We do not weld. That is why you do see some solder joints on our products. We always use 316 grade stainless steel sheet metal for our stainless steel vents. Thanks.
Vent was nicely crafted and fit perfectly. Much nicer than the plastic vents and will last much longer. Worth the extra cost.
Great quality and good service, but you pay for it.
I must have received a not so good dryer vent. I thought it was expensive for the "so so" quality. Each louver was not all the same length, and there is about a 1/4" gap in one of the louvres. Maybe the one I got skipped quality control.
Copperlab Response: I am very sorry to hear about your vent. All our parts are cut using a waterjet machine and assembled by hand. Please contact us with a phone of your problem and we can assist in determining weather the issue you are speaking of is part of the design or a manufacturing defect. Thanks.
Look good and good quality. Sprayed a clear coat on them so that the look last. Would buy them again.
If you think short-term it's a lot of upfront money for an exhaust vent. but...if you look at and consider the long-term craftsmanship/aesthetic appeal you'll agree that it's worth every penny! i am totally happy with the purchase. thank you.
We converted a main floor bedroom to a laundry/utility room. The dryer vent had to be to the front of the house. On the red brick exterior wall it blended right in, very attractive, actually.
I needed a vent I would never need to replace, and this fits the bill. Nicely constructed and easy to install. It matches my patio lights and blends in well with the stucco wall.
Nicely constructed and very low profile. Touched them up with a little Brasso after installation to even up the tone. In my salt air marine environment, these are the perfect fit.
This vent is nicely detailed and worth the price. I'm located in Hawaii and the shipping was prompt and without trouble. Thank You. I will definitely buy products here again.
I used this to add an exhaust fan to a second story bathroom. My walls are stucco over original cedar siding. Drilling the 4" hole through the stucco at the top of an extension ladder was a challenge to start with. Unfortunately I neglected to look closely at the CAD drawings provided and discovered when the vent arrived that it needed a .4" rectangular cutout on the stucco surface in order to mount flush.
The drawings call out 4.5" x 4.5" for the rectangle. Mine was actually 4.75" x 4.5".
A multitool and careful chiseling did the trick and the mount was perfect.
The louvers function well with the minimal fan CFM output.
Overall I'm very pleased but was less so when a 20 minute install finish turned into a much longer operation!
Materials and craftsmanship are first class, not a piece of flimsy junk, like all the others out there. You need to buy here and save time looking elsewhere, because you have found the best.
I have been looking for something that would last then I found the copper dryer vent and ordered it
The vent is made to last looks great I would highly recommend this to everyone thanks
I was looking for a vent that would not be obtrusive. My dryer and bath fans unfortunately vent out onto my patio. I replaced two of the plastic cheap vents with these and love then.
